Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 May 2026 · Governed by Indian law · Jurisdiction: Karnataka High Court

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Acredify India ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all hospital administrators, quality managers, and staff who access the platform on behalf of a hospital or healthcare institution ("Hospital Client").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Karnataka, India.

2. Nature of the Service

Acredify is a compliance management software platform that helps hospitals manage NABH accreditation, biomedical waste documentation, CAPA, incident reporting, committee records, staff training, vendor credentialing, and related compliance workflows.

Acredify is a software tool, not a compliance advisor. The Service does not constitute legal, regulatory, or accreditation advice. It is the Hospital Client's responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable laws and accreditation standards. Acredify facilitates documentation and workflow management — it does not guarantee accreditation outcomes or regulatory clearances.

3. Pilot program terms

Hospitals participating in the Founding Hospital Pilot Program receive access to all platform modules at no cost for 90 days from the go-live date, subject to:

  • Signing a Data Processing Agreement before setup
  • Participating in a 15-minute onboarding call with the Acredify team
  • Providing genuine operational feedback within 60 days
  • Not misrepresenting hospital details in the application

After the pilot period, continued access requires a paid subscription agreement. Acredify will provide 30 days' notice before the pilot period ends.

4. Data ownership

All compliance data entered into Acredify by hospital staff — BMW logs, NABH evidence, CAPA records, incident reports, committee minutes, and all other operational data — remains the property of the Hospital Client at all times.

Acredify processes this data solely to provide the Service as described. We do not use your hospital's operational data for training machine learning models, publishing benchmarks, or any purpose beyond direct service delivery.

Upon termination, the Hospital Client may request a full data export in CSV/PDF format within 60 days of termination. After this window, data is deleted per our Privacy Policy retention terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to enter false, fabricated, or misleading compliance records
  • Share login credentials across multiple individuals (each user must have their own account)
  • Attempt to access data belonging to other hospital accounts
  • Use the Service in violation of applicable Indian law or NABH/CPCB requirements
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce the Service's design, logic, or proprietary content

6. Service availability

Acredify targets 99.5% uptime for the platform. Planned maintenance is communicated at least 24 hours in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure providers, internet disruptions, or force majeure events.

For pilot phase clients, we do not provide formal SLA guarantees. Post-pilot subscription agreements include SLA terms.

7. Limitation of liability

Acredify is not liable for: NABH assessment outcomes; CPCB or SPCB inspection results; regulatory penalties arising from compliance gaps; decisions made by hospital staff based on platform data; or any consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.

Our total aggregate liability to a Hospital Client in any 12-month period shall not exceed the fees paid by that client to Acredify in the same period. For pilot clients (where no fees are paid), our total liability is limited to ₹10,000.

8. Intellectual property

The Acredify platform, its design, code, content, and workflows are proprietary to Acredify India. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to the Hospital Client. Hospital Clients receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform during the term of their agreement.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with 30 days' written notice. Acredify may terminate immediately if a Hospital Client violates the Acceptable Use terms in Section 5. Upon termination, the Hospital Client's access is deactivated and data export is made available per Section 4.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these Terms with 14 days' prior notice to active Hospital Clients via email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version is always at acredify.in/terms/.
